Scope

This Privacy page explains how Split Bill: Share the Check handles information when you use the app. The app is designed to work entirely on your device, and the operator does not collect data through the app.

Because the app does not require registration and does not send data to servers, the information you enter stays local to your device unless you choose to remove it yourself.

Information collection

The app does not collect personal data, advertising identifiers, analytics data, or other usage data for the operator. It also does not use data-collecting SDKs, including AppsFlyer or Meta/Facebook SDKs.

Any data you enter in the app is stored locally on your device so you can use the app there. The operator does not receive that data through the app.

Local storage

App data is stored only on the device where you use the app. There is no account system and no server-side storage associated with the app.

On Android, you can remove app-local data by clearing the app’s storage in Android settings. You can also remove app-local data by deleting the app from your device.

Third-party services

The app does not include third-party services that collect data for the operator. It does not use AppsFlyer, Meta/Facebook SDKs, or similar tracking tools.

If your device or operating system provides built-in features that affect app data, those features are handled by your device settings rather than by the app operator.

Sharing

The operator does not share data collected through the app because the app does not collect data through the operator in the first place.

Since the app keeps data on your device, there is no routine transfer of app data to advertisers, analytics providers, or other third parties.

Retention and deletion

App-local data remains on your device until you remove it. If you no longer want the data stored there, you can delete it by removing the app or, on Android, by clearing the app’s storage in Android settings.

Deleting the app or clearing storage removes the local data associated with the app from that device.

Changes

If this Privacy page changes, the updated version will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
